Describe a successful small business that you know.
You should say: What is the business is? Where it is? Who runs the business/how do you know about this business? And explain why you think it is successful?

Model Answer 1:
Introduction : Well, these days the start-up trend is booming like anything among youngsters in my city. However, starting and expanding a business is not a piece of cake.
Although a significant proportion of people operate their own business, only a handful get to the top.
Perhaps, there is a Myriad of small scale and large-scale industry in my city, but I am highly inspired by one of my uncle’s professional journey from rags to riches.
What is the business is? and Who runs the business/how do you know about this business? I vividly remember, when I was young, he used to discuss with my parents about the capital investment and infrastructure to set up his small ‘Dhaba’ which means a restaurant.
Where it is? He was not financially sound plus he didn’t have any shop to sell his food, everyone suggested him to take his food on a bicycle and sell outside the city mall.
He was extremely passionate about starting his trade, so he dedicatedly used to go and sell his ‘aloo paratha'(Indian bread with stuffed potato) outside the city mall.
Initially, he had to struggle to get customers, but by putting his endless efforts, he started to sell his dishes like hotcakes. I only managed to gravitate customers, but he sustained the taste and quality of food.
Later he managed to get financial assistance from a bank by moving heaven and earth, to take this business to its peak level, which is not everyone’s cup of tea. Just after a couple of years he opened his small restaurant and named it ‘Apna Dhaba’.
And explain why you think it is successful? With no time, his entrepreneurship and food got so popular that he also received an entrepreneur award by a local newspaper.
Moreover, my cousins are also getting involved in this business by incorporating innovative ideas strategically to enhance this business. They have also created an app for online ordering and home delivery, which fascinated me to the core.
Conclusion : I firmly believe that Just because of his dedication and determination, his business has grown by leaps and bounds.

There are lots of smallish companies running in Phagwara.

Here, I’d like to talk about Neil Campbell’s businesses.
It deals with engine spare parts.

This business is run by my buddy’s dad, Mr. Sehdev Chauhan.
They fabricate engine components and engine components.
My buddy tells me that her great grandfather started this business out of his property.
Then, when her grandfather joined the business, they began expanding.

Nowadays, there are approximately 200 employees, along with also provide spare parts all around the world.

They provide their worker’s incentives from time to time, and at times even take them out for trips.
When they get larger orders, they create their workers do and pay them twice for this moment.

3. Do you think we’re happier than people in the 19th century? Despite the conveniences of today, I do not think we’re happier. Primarily, there is so much stress today due to the increasing competition. Second, I think the excessive options are making us unhappy. We are constantly worried about making the incorrect choice.
4. Why youth is the best time for most people? I believe the main reason is the lack of both stress and anxieties in childhood. There’s sense of safety and happiness and feeling that if face any problem, our parents would look after it. As we grow older, there’s a realization that our problems can’t be solved by our parents and thus it makes us unhappy.
5. Do you think money can bring happiness in life? I’ve thought about this question a lot. I believe money does attract happiness, it allows us to buy the food we crave, so wear the clothing we enjoy, go on vacations, buy presents for our loved ones members and friends and so much more. However, I also believe happiness does not increase the more money we earn. If this were true, rich men and women are the speediest, and that is certainly not correct.
6. What do you believe is significant in bringing joy? I believe there are numerous things and money is definitely one of them. But aside from money, I feel it is about satisfaction in our work and the sense of importance- I mean the feeling that we matter to our family, our society. I think that’s the reason why many people picked working in the military over other profitable professions.
