Question Overview

Topic : Job
Type : Opinion

Model Answer 1:

Indeed, a current trend of replacing knowledgeable old employees with young abilities has popped up in each industry. In my opinion, not all of the old workers should be replaced by young individuals.

Experienced workers of each industry should be regarded as invaluable assets. That is because their company experience will be proportional to their devotion and gratitude towards the employers. That is an extra advantage. Such reluctantly bonded workers would work sincerely for the development of the provider. This is not all; their complete experience could never be replaced by anything, which implies that they would have sound practical knowledge. It is therefore always better for the companies to keep their older workers despite recruiting freshers.

The planet has become revolutionized with the progress in technology, and thus many people with cutting edge technical skills are needed in every business for its economic growth.

Contrarily, it is not smart to fire the old and professional workers considering age as the sole factor. Their expertise should be appreciated, though they may not be aware of updated technologies. There could be problems wherein freshers could find difficulty. In this case, they certainly need advice. Why can’t every industry use their senior employees as a mentor to train new trainees?

It also needs to be considered that a business ought to be ruthless at times, in my estimation, to create its advancement consistently. If work like sales and marketing involves an aged employee who is getting weak, then the wisest decision is to replace them with a young and energetic individual. It is not that the older person should be fired but may be used as a resource for your business.

In conclusion, both young and old employees are the prerequisites for a healthy work- environment. There ought to be a mutual sharing of knowledge and abilities for the upliftment of the business. However, few people whose age is a problem because of their work may be replaced with young folks and not all.

Model Answer 2:

Possessing an efficient workforce has always been one of the most complicated issues faced by businesses and businesses worldwide. Therefore, it is relatively controversial whether older experienced workers ought to be substituted with younger ones. Since powerful arguments exist in service of both notions, both of these should be discussed carefully before any decision is drawn. Nevertheless, my personal opinion is a younger workforce for the industry is much more critical.

On the one hand, old workers can contribute vital benefits to the industry because of their sufficient knowledge. The first and foremost benefit obtained from older workers is that they know the sector’s present system quite well. Regarding the industry’s strong and weak sides, they can decide solutions from the most convenient and effective ways. Furthermore, businesses must enjoy their work experience and use their knowledge comprehensively to maximize the profit rate.

A strong argument could, ofcourse, be produced from the opposite position. Young people are enthusiastic and filled with new ideas. Due to youngsters’ creativeness and efforts, the industry may boost its profit and enhance its facility. Hence, if industries aim to promote productiveness, they should encourage young workers and give broader changes. Moreover, young people have greater vulnerability to new technologies, which is a considerable advantage.

On all reports, although older workers have enough adventures, industries should promote more young employees in order to acquire accomplishments. So far as I am concerned, we should inspire the young generation, because we should not forget that they are contractors of our future life.
