Introduction: and Who this person is? and How you knew him/her?
It is quite unfortunate that most people are becoming self-centred Unit but still, there are some people who understand their responsibility and contribute towards society and the person I’m going to talk about is a famous Bollywood personality Sonu Sood who is a great social worker.

I feel proud that he is from my hometown Moga and is famous internationally for his good deeds.

What type of work he/she does?
Though he has been helping others for ages but got into the limelight during the corona pandemic. It was a time when people were in great fear due to the deadly virus unfortunately, it was a very tough time for daily wagers who lost their work during lockdown they were not able to make both ends meet and this was the time when Sonu Sood announced he would provide food and shelter to all the affected people.

And explain why you think he/she contributes to the society?
In addition, labourers who were working away from their hometowns and were not able to travel back because the public transport was not operational, he arranged hundreds of buses and helped thousands of migrant workers to meet their families.

In fact, he is highly active on social media and whosoever approaches him for help he never says ‘no’. Every time he visits my city he contributes in some way, for example, lately, he distributed bicycles to thousands of school-going girls to empower them.

He great example for others to understand, their role towards society and I wish I too begone a social worker like him one day.

Model Answer 2:

In this highly competitive era, everyone is busy with their work and always trying to compete with others. Therefore, most people ignore social work. Despite, the hectic daily life, there are still many people in our society doing social work without expecting anything.

Today, I would like to talk about a person who has been doing social work for 10 years and wants to continue.

Who the person is? and How do you know him/her?
His name is Amit. we both graduated from the same institute. So I know him very well. He has helped others since his school days. He previously gave free tuition to poor and weak students at his home.

What type of work he/she does?
After completion of his graduation now he opened a small factory. About fifty employees are working under him. The work is based on garbage recycling.

He deals with waste paper and plastic material. both paper and plastic are easily recycled; both materials can be made into new products instead of sitting in a landfill.

Colourful paper, tissues, rest room paper and napkins are made via way of means of recycling waste paper in his factory. Plastic items which includes mats, bags also are made via way of means of his workers.

Why you think he/she contributes to the society?
I think waste recycling is the best way to reduce social waste. It is very beneficial not only to the environment but also to health. He holds a free medical camp every month, especially for the poor. In this camp, medicine, tests are free.

So I think he is making a big contribution to society.
