Model Answer 2

Some believe parents should educate their children on how to be excellent and civilized members of society, while others believe that schools should teach these principles. However, both parents and schools are equally vital in instilling moral principles in children in order for them to be decent citizens.

On the one hand, parents are the first teachers and the first school where children acquire life lessons. Children must be taught about love, empathy, compassion, and socially acceptable behaviour at home. Furthermore, because parents know their children well, children should be educated to aid the less fortunate members of society. As a result, they can successfully teach their children about societal obligations, which should be noticed.

On the other hand, school is where children are taught skills in various disciplines that help them become self-sufficient. As children receive an education and learn numerous skills in school, they will be better able to become self-sufficient. This will also enable them to contribute to society by utilizing their expertise. For example, educated youngsters may assist in teaching the alphabet and teaching illiterate people of society to read and write. As a result, both parents and schools should teach children to be socially responsible. Children with such an education in talents, love, and kindness may become a contributing part of society.

To summarise, the most effective way to help children become morally and socially responsible members of society is to teach them both at home and school.
