Why it has impressed you? Those who get caught for smoking they have to pay heavy fine. The penalty is usually 5000 Rupees and for repeated offences, they may have to go behind jail so it was one of the most decision law that the government my country has implemented, and it has really made the lives of the people easier at public places.
In fact enhance the beauty of public places because it was also associated with littering and outbreak of fires.
