Q1. Do you live in a house or flat? Please describe it a little.
I live in a village, and my house is situated outside the village. It is a three-story brick house. There are six bedrooms, one kitchen, a living room and a drawing-room. There is an open area in the backside of the house in which we plant some vegetables and fruit plants.

Q2. What is your favourite room in your home?
I like two-room one is my room, and another place is prayer room where I feel very relaxed and happy.

Q3. What have you done to your room to make it look nice?
I like the white and black colour, so the room’s walls have painted a combination of both things. I love art and craft, so I made many things from old material which is hung on the walls, and the most important thing is that I keep my room spic and span.

Q4. Whom do you live with?
I live with my grandparents, parents and brother.

Q5. Which room does your family spend most of the time in?
Well, my family spends most of the time in the living room. We watch TV and have our meals there.

Q6. How long have you lived there?
I have lived there for 12 years. My old house was located in the centre of the village, but 12 years ago I shifted in the new house with my family.

Q7. What is the difference between where you are living now and where you have lived in the past?
My old house was in the village centre, and our neighbours are not good, and the area was very noisy, but my new home is located outside the village, and it is a very peaceful area.

Q8. What do you usually do in your house/flat?
I do many things in my house, such as spend time with family members, play different games, study and eat there.

Q9. Are the transport facilities to your home very well?
To be very honest, even though my village is very near to the city, but transport facilities are not too excellent as we want.
OR
Yes, the transport services at my house are excellent. There are a bus stand and a railway station which provide services very frequently.

Q10. Do you plan to move?
Well, nowadays, I am preparing for the IELTS exam because I want to pursue my study abroad, so I plan to move within a year.

Q11. Would you change anything about your home? Why/ why not?
I like my house very much, so I don’t want any change in the house, but I would like to have a garden in the front side of the house, and I am preparing for it.

Q12. Are there many amenities near your home?
As I said, my house is outside the village, and all the services are inside the village, which is a kilometre away from my home.
OR
My house is located in the city centre, so everything is within reach. There is a park as well as a variety of shops.

Q13. Do you prefer living in a house or a flat?
Each home has advantages and disadvantages. Some people like to live in a flat because it is very easy to maintain it and many facilities like the gym, park and many more are available near the flat. But the drawback is that the flat area is very small and it is suitable only for small families. On the other hand, the house area is bigger than flats, but it is not easy to maintain it.
