Question Overview

Topic : Study or work and leave home
Type : Advantages or Disadvantages

Model Answer

That is why the influx of people in cities is growing, and young people mostly move to cities, away from their own families, to pursue a better education and have work. Even though there are many benefits to this tendency, opposing sides are also there.

First, the young generation has to move to cities to get admitted to better schools or universities. Cities have more specialized universities, while rural regions scarcely have the amenities these educational institutions can provide. That is why parents want their kids to study in a town instead of in a village. For example, an IT professional has practically no odds of having a job in a remote area while there are loads of opportunities for this person in town.

I believe there are more benefits to this tendency through the negative consequences should also be considered. First of all, only a couple of youth would be able to initiate a career from the village area, and most of them would finally be forced to move. This is since the chance and facilities in cities are more than those of rural locations. On the contrary, if everyone moves to the towns, the rural areas will probably always stay underdeveloped and lack talented entrepreneurs. This would also boost the population density and contamination of in-town locations.

In conclusion, some specialists, such as doctors, should be invited to operate in rural regions while professionals like software programs should stay in the city. On the other hand, the authorities should take initiatives to construct new offices and factories in rural areas so that young people can work and stay there.
