Model Answers and follow up questions to describe a time you made complaint and got good result IELTS cue card:

Model Answer:

Introduction:
Well, I have a complaining nature, and whenever I do not get good service, I always make a complaint, and here I would talk about my school days when I made a complaint against the teacher.

When it was?
The thing is that when I was in 10th grade, mathematics was essential. At the same time, it was challenging for most students. Unfortunately, Mr. Singh was appointed as our new Maths teacher, and his method of teaching was very inefficient.

To whom you made the complaint? and About whom it was?
No student was comfortable with his style of teaching. In addition, he had a very careless attitude towards teaching. He often keeps on using a mobile phone in the classroom instead of teaching the students. It was definitely affecting all students’ performance, and we all classmates discussed this problem, but no one had the courage to see the principal and complain about Mr. Singh.

Later in the evening, I shared the problem with my parents. At that time, my father encouraged me and said that I should definitely see the principal and complain against the teacher if we are not comfortable because we pay the school fee heavily. The next morning, I went to the school principal’s office and discussed the matter, and the principal listened to me very patiently.

What was the result?
In fact, my school principal warned Mr. Singh the same day, and it brought a sea change in his attitude and way of teaching. All my friends were very thankful to me, and the principal also appreciated my courage to come in front to complain about a teacher.

Conclusion:
So, overall it was a time when I made a complaint about something and received a positive result.
