Question Overview

Topic : Life
Type : Opinion

Model Answer 1:

It is a fact that the older generation, in most of the circumstances, adheres to many traditional values, belief and older way of thinking and many of these are not appropriate to create the kids ready to take challenges in this contemporary era. There are still some principles and traditions that are useful, and the older generation should pass those values to the young people.

First, many ideas that older generation still finds unavoidable have become less applicable for the young generation, and it is a good thing that the kids have less faith on the superstitions that our forefathers believed in. Anyway, the common belief of teaching a boy and upbringing a woman so he becomes the breadwinner and she can become a good housewife is no longer accepted by the contemporary age. The conventional belief of a fixed role for men and women is no longer related to this advanced age where people believe in gender equity. Furthermore, modern creation no more agrees to accept that a student must study to become a doctor or an engineer. According to the old view, both of these are the careers someone must possess. With time, research and career have become quite different, and the older heritage is no longer acceptable. Additionally, young adults select their life partners and decide when to marry, which contradicts the old tradition.

However, there are some conventional values which the youngsters should foster as those perspectives are still useful and beneficial in this contemporary era. For instance, old creation ardently believes in the importance of being honest, and they would rather perish than to surrender to corruption. Whether this generation can accommodate the single traditional price, the entire world would be a far better location. Our forefathers also valued the importance of working hard and takes pride in your dignity and work. These characteristics are ageless and ought to be passed to the new generation too. We have been more materialistic and greedy these days while out old creation teaches us the value of family and society. The sense of community that the older people had are exemplary and could establish better family, social and cultural bonding.

In conclusion, kids need to be prepared to adopt the altered modern age while nurturing the traditional values that instruct them to have a better future.

Model Answer 2:

It has occasionally contended that conventional lifestyles and behaviours favoured by the older generation have nothing to do with kids’ practice in a means that will necessitate living in a fast-paced universe.

In my view, customs that was settled by our ancestors are absurd to receive considered within this world. To take a living fashion of the predecessors, for instance, teenagers in previous centuries have been bound to stay in nucleus families. However, younger generations are more likely to live independently today, letting them develop several features in their personalities, ranging from a greater degree of confidence and an awareness of the obligation to handle the actual world. These hands-on encounters help them to become better educated and ready for the challenges in real life. If those dinosaurs were made to adhere to the traditional ideology, they would have missed these philosophical traits essential in becoming a successful member of a cosmopolitan society.

It is also argued that traditional values can limit teenagers from thinking worldwide. Therefore, it will make them of the narrow-minded adults concerning accepting different individuals from various cultures and backgrounds. For example, that our forefathers were exceptionally reluctant to perform shared company with dealers of different cultural groups of people in their time frame. Thus, I would assert that teens should be provided with the broader view of the world with immense knowledge of global problems, different languages in addition to conflict resolution. It will permit them to expand their horizons concerning the understanding of the increasingly interconnected world. Thus, a prestigious location in the work market and a prosperous future will be ensured for them.

In summary, I feel that conventional integrity ought to be disregarded since it cannot help create our younger generation that the members of an aggressive society.
