Model Answer 1:

Well, like other people across the globe, I too relish exploring famous traveler destinations. Since most of the tourist attractions in my country have its cultural values along with history, I always try to buy some memento to keep my memories alive of my visit to that place. My wardrobe is flooded with a myriad of small local crafts or souvenirs, which I bought from various tourist places in my life. However, I would like to talk about one exceptional remembrance I purchased from Agra when I paid a visit to one of the seven wonders of the world Taj Mahal.

Actually, previous year in November, I planned for a small vacation to Agra, which is famous for its historic monuments. As it was a solo trip, I decided to go in the winter season due to pleasant weather. I took a short break from my study(you can say study/work) and headed for this holiday destination. Although I visited many exquisite forts and breathtaking attractions of Agra, I was awestruck when I saw Taj Mahal for the first time.

I couldn’t blink my eyes as I was mesmerized by its exceptional beauty. Since it was a weekend, there were hordes of tourists at that place. Nevertheless, after spending some quality time inside, when I came out from the premises, I saw a huge local market, where numerous eye-catching artistic handicrafts were available.

However, one thing which caught my attention was a miniature of Taj Mahal, which was made of pure Marble. It looked so elegant, that without giving a second thought, I immediately purchased it.

Although as it was a little expensive, but worth buying a souvenir representing a deep love of an emperor towards his queen. The Taj Mahal symbolizes the love of a Mughal emperor Shahjahan to his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. So what could be more special than buying a small model of something extraordinary?

and explain why you think it was something special?

This was indeed a holiday of a lifetime and an unforgettable experience because when I gave this memorial to my mom, she was over the moon to see an exceptionally beautiful thing and decided to make her next trip this travel destination.

Model Answer 2:

What it was?
Let me tell you about the time I visited Nami Island, a place of interest in Seoul, Korea, and took something really important home.

When and where did you buy it?
I visited Seoul for seven days during last year’s autumn with my friends. Although we tried a lot of delicious food and went sightseeing around the city, I was looking forward to the Nami trip the most in order to accomplish a secret mission. I was lucky to visit the island during its peak of autumn, and there were a lot of maple leaves on the island. To be honest, it was the first time I have ever seen maple leaves. Therefore, I decided to pick some up and brought them home.

What you did with it after you brought it home?
So, I gave my friends the maple leaves I brought from the Korea trip as a gift, and I could tell by their faces that they were completely blown away when seeing the maple leaves despite the fact that their color was faded. Some of my friends even kept the leaves in their books as a bookmark.

and explain why you think it was something special?
Visiting Korea in autumn and witnessing maple leaves were a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me, especially when I am living a tropical country, which means that seeing real maple leaves in person is almost impossible. That’s all.

Here I would like to talk about a thing which I brought from a Shimla in last summer. It was a water fountain.

What it was like?
