Model Answer 1:
Introduction:
Well, most people show their concern about the degrading environment, but there are very few who actually do something to save the environment, and I will take this opportunity to talk about one such person who is doing an outstanding job of planting trees.
Who the person is? and How do you know the person?
Mr Singh is my neighbour, and he is actually a Botanist by profession. Being a botanist, he keeps profound knowledge about the different plants and their species. At the same time, he is very much concerned about the degrading environment.
Why does he/she grow plants?
He understands that the way the problem of global warming is worsening the day is not too far, that it would become challenging to survive on this planet and the only solution to the problem is planting more and more trees.
This is perhaps the reason why approximately ten to fifteen years ago, he started planting trees and educating people about the same. Initially, people didn’t take him seriously, but he didn’t stop.
He continued to do so out of his own resources, and when people actually realised his concern, people started to join him.
Today, he is running an NGO named “Go Green” with thousands of members. This NGO has planted more than one million trees, which is perhaps why Mr Singh has been awarded by the state as well.
What types of plants does he/she grow?
He is more like an inspiration for everyone. Not only in public places, even at his home, he has a huge lawn, where he has planted hundreds of trees and exotic species of plants that cannot actually survive in the climatic conditions in my area, but it is just his affection and love towards plants that they are flourishing.
I must say that I have learnt a lot from Mr Singh. This is perhaps the reason why I, too, try to plant trees whenever possible, but I make sure that on my every birthday, I plant a tree and take good care of it.
Conclusion:
Overall, I can say that Mr Singh is definitely one person that I know who grows plants and trees.
Model Answer 2:
Introduction:
Well, gardening is the most common hobby among people in my nation.
Who the person is? and How do you know the person?
Here I would like to talk about a person who admires growing plants. He is none other than my elder brother. Actually me and my brother were born and brought up in the countryside and our father is a farmer.
So we know all ins and outs of agriculture. However, my brother has been interested in planting distinct types of trees, vegetable plants and fruits.
After completing his senior secondary education, he pursued his bachelor’s degree in the agricultural stream. Now, he is working as a professor in the agricultural department of SD University.
He is a kind and hard-working person. After his working hours, he arranges awareness camps with his colleagues in the nearby village, regarding the importance of growing plants.
What types of plants does he/she grow?
Besides this, in the backyard of our house, he has grown many trees like Neem, flower plants and trees of fruits like guava, mango, orange etc. Also, he always does organic framing and avoids the usage of pesticides.
Why does he/she grow plants?
These days a lot of pesticides and chemicals are being used in farming which is detrimental to our health and environment. So he started to grow plants at home.
He only uses organic fertilizers and organic spray to prevent a plant from ailments. Because he believes that organic farming is not harmful to soil and the environment.
I generally follow in his footsteps to become like him because I know he is such a wise person and a good guide.
Conclusion:
Overall, he is a person who likes to grow plants as a hobby.
