示例答案
Everyone faces problems in life, but some people have an excellent presence of mind and can solve issues calmly without panicking. Here, I would like to talk about my aunt Paramjeet, who once handled a situation in a very clever way.
Who this person is?
My aunt Paramjeet is my mother’s elder sister. She is in her mid-forties but looks much younger and is known in our family for her intelligence and cooking skills. She even conducts cookery classes during the summer vacations and can prepare dinner for twenty people in just an hour.
What the problem was?
This incident happened about six months ago when my aunt and uncle had come to our house for dinner. My mother was preparing a cheese curry for everyone. Unfortunately, while adding salt to the dish, the entire salt box slipped from her hand, and a large amount of salt fell into the curry. Since she hadn’t prepared any other dish and it was almost dinnertime, she started panicking. She thought the curry would have to be thrown away and cooked again from scratch.
How he/she solved it?
When my aunt noticed that my mother was stressed, she calmly walked into the kitchen and told her not to worry. She quickly kneaded some dough and made three to four small balls. Then she placed these dough balls into the curry and let it cook for about fifteen minutes. After that, she removed the dough balls and asked my mother to taste the curry. Surprisingly, the excess salt had been absorbed by the dough, and the dish tasted perfectly fine.
And explain why you think he/she did it in a smart way?
I think she handled the situation very smartly because she stayed calm and used her experience instead of panicking. She knew a practical kitchen trick to fix the problem instantly. Thanks to her quick thinking, the dish was saved, and no one at the dinner table even realized what had happened. My mother was extremely relieved, and the evening went smoothly. Since then, I have always admired my aunt’s presence of mind.
Conclusion
Overall, this incident showed me that intelligence is not just about academic knowledge but also about practical wisdom. My aunt’s smart thinking saved time, effort, and unnecessary stress.

Do you think children are born smart or do they learn to become smart?
I believe intelligence is a combination of both natural ability and learning. Some children may be naturally quick learners, but with proper guidance, encouragement, and education, almost every child can develop smart thinking skills.
How do children become smart at school?
Children become smart at school by paying attention to their teachers, asking questions, and actively participating in class activities. Interacting with classmates and consistently studying also help them develop critical thinking skills.
Why are some people well-rounded and others only good at one thing?
Some people are naturally curious and enjoy exploring different fields, which makes them well-rounded. Others prefer to focus deeply on one skill and aim to master it. Both approaches have their own advantages depending on a person’s goals.
Why does modern society need talent of all kinds?
Modern society requires a variety of talents because no single person can excel at everything. We need doctors, engineers, artists, teachers, and many other professionals to work together. A balanced mix of skills helps society function smoothly and progress efficiently.
