The given visual includes a pie chart and a bar chart. The pie chart illustrates how water is used across different sectors in Australia, while the bar chart breaks down residential water consumption by activity.

Overall, the largest share of water in Australia is consumed by houses, while other sectors such as apartments, industry, business, and government use significantly less. Within the residential segment, bathrooms and gardens are the most water-intensive areas.

According to the pie chart, houses account for 57% of total water usage, making them the dominant consumer. This is followed by apartments at 13%, industry at 11%, business at 10%, and government buildings at 6%. The category labeled “other” comprises just 3% of the total.

The bar chart reveals that bathrooms use the most residential water at nearly 30%, slightly ahead of gardens at 26%. Washing clothes makes up 20%, followed by toilets at 15%, and kitchens using the least at 10%.
