Câu trả lời mẫu
There are so many apps on my phone—probably more than fifty. They serve different purposes such as news updates, online banking, digital payments, gaming, and social media. However, the app I use the most is Snapchat.
What it is?
Snapchat is a social media app mainly used for sending pictures, short videos, and messages that disappear after being viewed. It is especially popular among young people. One of the main features I love is maintaining “streaks” with my close friends. We send each other snaps every day just to keep the streak going. I also really enjoy the filters on the app. Some filters are hilarious and make you look funny, while others enhance your appearance and make your photos look more attractive.
How often you use it?
When I first started using Snapchat, I would spend almost four to five hours a day on it without even realizing it. It was extremely popular in my school at that time. However, nowadays I am more conscious about my screen time. I try to limit my usage to around 30 minutes a day, usually in the evening when I’m free.
When/how you use it?
I mainly use Snapchat to stay connected with my close friends. Instead of typing long messages, we simply send quick snaps to share updates about our day. I usually open the app in the evening to reply to messages, maintain my streaks, and check my friends’ stories. The disappearing message feature makes it feel more private and secure compared to some other platforms.
When/how you found it?
I started using Snapchat when I got my first phone in class 10. At that time, almost all my friends were already using it, so I decided to download it as well. Initially, I joined just to fit in, but over time it became part of my daily routine.
Conclusion
Overall, Snapchat has become an important part of my life. Although I now use it more responsibly, it still helps me stay in touch with my friends in a simple and fun way, and I feel it keeps our friendships active.
Câu hỏi theo sau (Phần 3)
What are the differences between old and young people when using apps?
Young people are generally more tech-savvy and comfortable exploring new features. They adapt quickly to updates and enjoy experimenting with different apps. In contrast, older people usually prefer simple interfaces and may take more time to understand new functions.
Why do some people not like using apps?
Some people find apps confusing or time-consuming. Others are concerned about privacy and data security. Additionally, a few people feel that they can manage their lives perfectly well without relying too much on technology.
What apps are popular in your country? Why?
In my country, social media apps and digital payment apps are extremely popular. Social media apps help people stay connected, while payment apps make transactions quick and convenient. Online shopping and food delivery apps are also widely used because they save time.
Should parents limit their children’s use of computer programs and computer games? Why and how?
Yes, I believe parents should set reasonable limits. Excessive screen time can negatively affect children’s sleep, studies, and physical health. Parents can create a balanced routine, set time restrictions, monitor content, and encourage outdoor activities or hobbies.
Do you think young people are becoming more reliant on these programs?
Yes, definitely. Young people rely heavily on digital platforms for education, entertainment, communication, and even shopping. While technology brings convenience, it is important to maintain a balance to avoid overdependence.
