Model Answers and follow up questions to describe a law you want to be enacted or law you would like to see in future in your country IELTS cue card:

Introduction:
Well, the government of my country enacts various laws for the betterment of society and every now, and then new laws are introduced.

What the law would be?
But, the one that I would really love to see would be the law related to the recycling of various types of materials. The fact is that today some problems are becoming serious and concerning day by day, for example, the excessive use of resources which is basically because of the ever-growing population.

What would be under this law?
At the same time, with usage, the problem of waste management is also growing. We can see piles of garbage everywhere, but if a new law of recycling comes into being.

How it would be benefit society?
It would benefit society tremendously; as per my understanding, this law should have few clauses.

First of all, there should be an incentive system. So that the general public can be encouraged to follow this rule wholeheartedly, they must be obliged to sort the waste material so that it can be easily recycled. At the same time, there should be a provision of penalties as well so that those who do not follow must be strictly or severely penalised. If this law is implemented, I think it would bring a huge change.

Firstly, it would reduce our dependence on natural resources as a large section of society will start using recycled products. Simultaneously, it would resolve the concern of waste as a major proportion of the waste would be recycled. Last but not least, it would benefit the people or the members of society as when they will buy recycled products.

They would purchase them at a cheaper price as compared to the virgin or new product. I am pretty sure the government would definitely look into this matter.

Conclusion:
Overall, this one law would bring a huge benefit to the environment as well as to society, and I hope to see it enacted shortly.
