Sample Answer

I would like to talk about my friend Rahul, who has a very good habit that I truly admire and want to adopt in my own life. We have been close friends since school, and over the years, I have observed many good qualities in him, but one habit really stands out.

What habit he has?

Rahul has the habit of waking up early in the morning and following a very disciplined routine. Every day, he wakes up around 5:30, goes for a jog, and spends some time reading or planning his day. Because of this, he always stays energetic, organized, and positive throughout the day.

When I noticed this habit?

I first noticed this habit during our board exams. At that time, most of us used to study late at night and felt very sleepy the next morning. Rahul, on the other hand, would go to bed on time and wake up early to study in the peaceful morning hours.

I could clearly see how fresh and focused he was compared to the rest of us, and his exam results were also excellent. Since then, I have seen him maintain this routine, whether it’s college or work.

Why I want to develop this habit?

I really want to develop this habit because I usually stay up late, sometimes scrolling on my phone or watching something, and then I wake up late and feel lazy. If I could wake up early like Rahul, I would have more time for exercise, self-study, and proper planning of my day.

I think it would not only improve my health but also increase my productivity. Another reason I admire this habit is that it shows discipline, and I believe discipline is one of the keys to success in life.

Conclusion

So, the good habit that my friend Rahul has—waking up early and being disciplined—is something I respect a lot. I am trying to practice it slowly in my own life, because I know it will help me become more active, positive, and successful in the future.

Follow-up Questions (Part 3)

What habits should children have?

Children should develop habits like waking up early, brushing teeth twice a day, respecting elders, sharing with friends, and keeping their surroundings clean. These small habits build discipline from a young age.

What should parents do to teach their children good habits?

Parents should set a good example because children learn more by watching than by listening. They should also encourage children with appreciation when they follow good habits, and make rules consistent at home.

What influences do children with bad habits have on other children?

Children often copy their friends. So if one child has bad habits like lying, being lazy, or not studying, other children may pick them up too. That’s why it’s important to guide them early.

Why do some habits change when people get older?

Habits change as people grow older because priorities and lifestyles change. For example, a student might have the habit of staying up late, but as a working adult, they may sleep early due to job responsibilities. Also, with maturity, people realize which habits are harmful and which are helpful.
