The creation of the computer is an epic among the other technological breakthroughs of the last century. The role of computers in the modern lifestyle has attained such dizzy heights than anyone could ever envision. Righteously, its use in various areas of medicine, crime investigation, and aerospace technology is explicit. In the middle of a computer-driven world, its future purposes are infinite. The affinity that humans have grown because of this particular technological gizmo is gigantic, and this dependency is moot for most.

In the present, the bulk of the areas, humanity thrives are computers. Its significance in the medical field, for example, is quite imperative. For instance, from safeguarding patient medical records into the automated and meticulous interpretation of investigation reports, they are computerised. The use of computers in crime investigation is quite inevitable nowadays. International satellite tracking personal gadgets of criminals to chase down them could exemplify this. Another significant technological impact computers created is in aero-spacing, where, even flying an aircraft has become computerised, suspicious whether Charles Babbage envisaged the same?

The future use of computers by humankind is endless. To name or pinpoint its prospects would be cumbersome or rather impossible. The very existence of computer-operated human robots that may even replace an individual is not a fantasy anymore.

Since the personal computer revolution and its consequences on humankind, a matter of one becoming hooked on computers is impeccable. In this globalised world, computer dependence is a significant concern unattended. Children spending long hours on computers and its misuse in workplaces by employees is ubiquitous and a generally accorded bane.

In my opinion, as a person, one ought to have the ability to imbibe the virtues and reject the viceversa, in regards to using computers.
