Topic : Accident
Type : Opinion Essay

Model Answer :

It is unquestionably true that thousands of people lose their lives in road accidents and the numbers are increasing with time despite the intensive efforts which have been done by the government. I completely agree with the point that the miserable condition of vehicles and roads and poor driving habits are the main culprits. I would discuss some points which strengthen my viewpoints in the below paragraphs.

There are various reasons for the rising road toll. First is, in many developing countries government do has sufficient funds or can say do not invest much money on roads constructions again and again so due to the lack of maintains roads are broke down from various places which are the most significant reasons of road accidents. In addition to it, most roads are quite narrow, and there is no separate path for pedestrians and cyclists, so they face many difficulties while travelling on busy roads.

The second reason is, sometimes people do not maintain and re air their vehicle on time and due to that, they not only contribute to increasing the pollution(air, noise) but it increases the traffic also if the car stop working on the road,. The third factor is terrible driving. Many people use mobile phones while driving. In this fast-paced and busy world people over speed their vehicle to reach on the destination place on time, but they can not control the pace(speed) in an emergency.

Another lousy( very bad) driving habit is, people, drive the car the influence of alcohol and most of the time, especially youngsters reluctant to adopt the safety measures like wearing the set belts and helmets.

In conclusion, it is clear that most of the road mishaps are the result of human error so if people paid little attention during driving can save a lot of precious lives.
