The chart below shows how much money is spent in the budget on different sectors by the UAE government in 2000.

Model Answer
The pie chart shows the budget expenditures of the Government of the United Arab Emirates in different sectors. The government had a budget of AED 135 billion for 2000.
Overall, it was reported that the UAE government’s maximum spending was on social security while the lowest was on transportation law and order.
According to the pie chart, the UAE administration allocated AED 100 billion to social security from their national budget. It was more than half of this figure was devoted to health and personal development, approximately 53 billion AED was the second largest sector in terms of expenditure made by the UAE government. AED 38 million went to education and AED 23 billion to debt interest.
Furthermore, with the rest of the sectors. The government used 22 billion in the defence sector, which is about 10 billion more than the amount spent in the industrial, employment and agricultural sectors. The lowest amount, only nine billion, went to the transportation sector. Lastly, 15 billion was allocated in the budget for housing and the environment.
