The bar chart illustrates the number of people in the UK eating more than 5 portions of vegetables and fish per day.

The bar chart illustrates the percentage of three groups, women, children and men in the UK, who were consuming five or more portions of vegetables and fish per day from 2011 to 2017.
Overall, it is apparent that despite fluctuations they have an upward trend and women rank first in terms of per cent whereas third position hold by children in this period.
Women began the period with 20% consuming more than five portions of vegetables and fish a day, and this figure was stable for three years. It started to rise in 2014, accounting for 28%, and it reached its highest point in 2016 at 36%, but it dropped by 6% in the last year. The lowest figures for children were recorded in 2011, it began at 10%, inclined to 14% in the following year. Percentages then fluctuated around 14% and finished at the peak of 15% by the end of the period 2017.
Furthermore, except in 2016, the percentage of food consumed by men was slightly increased every year. It started from 16% in the first year, and after rose of 8% the figures were amounting to 24% in 2015, but it decreased by 1% in the next year, before reaching 26% in the last year.
