Nowadays, the obesity problem has increased at an alarming rate that every third person, especially children, is suffering from it. There are many solutions to tackle this problem. One is to increase the time of sports and exercise in school, but it does not mean that the only school can solve this issue, but parents should also take the responsibility of their child and solve their health problems.
I agree with that if school increase the sports and exercise time, then the overweight problem could be solved, but it is very tough to change the school schedule because other subjects timing could also be affected, but one thing is possible if physical education teacher gives more attention to overweight students during their class time and motivates them to do more exercise. This method could be beneficial for students.
Moreover, with other solutions, the overweight problem can solve if children eat healthy food rather than street / unhealthy food. Junk food is not only unhealthy but increases the weight very swiftly also. So, the parents must check what their children eat daily and set should their children’s diet chart daily. Parents should increase the outdoor activates time of their children and make their children understand the drawbacks of mobile phone games and video games.
In conclusion, school indeed plays a vital role in every student’s life, but in the case of the overweight problem, the only school does not have a responsibility to solve the children’s issues. Parents can also help to tackle this problem.
