Undoubtedly, we prefer to watch television instead of getting along with our loved ones or meeting folks. Though I agree that it is not a positive impact, I feel it does not entirely ruin any individual’s family life or society.
On the one hand, the idiot box is regarded as a dangerous instrument that significantly impacts both individuals and society. Concerning people, they get hooked on the apps telecasted and provide low priority to the family members. Most Indian women who regularly watch mega serials have shown to possess poor bonding with their loved ones. At the same time, unknowingly it consumes more time than we anticipate. Consequently, we all realize that we might have spent quality time with family or friends only at the next stage. Since everybody becomes a couch potato, there is less interaction with the neighbours, resulting in a community that is not socially interactive.
On the other hand, television is not the only cause for issues in family and community. It is a well-known truth that internet access and other digital gadgets such as mobile phones, computers and laptops contribute significantly. Therefore, there becomes a necessity for people to communicate directly with the dawn of staff chats, video calls, free messaging and immediate response. Additionally, the hectic work program pushes more people towards amusement to unwind and re-energize for the next day. This does not disturb a household’s disturbance whether its use is retained under the limit and all other relationships are prioritized. In reality, many programs like family no 1′ are being broadcast to insist the family values and mutual understanding. This is not all that there are plenty of social concern events being exposed to people to create awareness. Thus television cannot be blamed since it has its benefits.
In conclusion, television’s amusement motto is appealed more, and it is common to spend time for relaxation. This is not all of our working hours have changed these days, and by that time we would have no one’s business other than television. In my opinion, it’d no way affect the connection and socialization if it is appropriately utilized inappropriate time.
