For example, the union is believed to happen once in a life, and the people today with the memory of the event until their very last breath. That can be possible only when the place is nicely decorated, and everyone and the neighbors are encouraged. It is all but impossible to attain something particular that will be remembered forever by spending restricted cash. Thus it is clear why some people today incline towards that point of view.
On the other hand, some people today think it is not appropriate to devote a massive amount of money to private celebrations since many people are under starvation.
