Model Answer

Parental influence and family life have enormous value to the evolution of a young child, based on many. Still, others opine that children’s behavior is affected more by external factors like friends, teachers and the surrounding environment. In my opinion, the effects of parents, relatives and family life are essential for the proper psychological and physical growth of a child, but ecological and external influences are more beneficial for them to confront real life. This essay will talk about both views before drawing a fair decision.

On the one hand, parents possess remarkable impacts on their children’s growth, especially to form a promising youth. The feeling of relationship, family, responsibility, and punctuality is instilled in a child by parents, and it has an influential role in adulthood. According to many psychologists, enjoyment and care from parents develop a strong personality in a kid, while the absence of proper parenting often ruins it. What is more, children mainly mimic their parents and become more like them. Undoubtedly, this single fact proves how important it is for a child to have a family and proper parenting.

On the other hand, to become a complete human, we will need to study in a school, interact with teachers and neighbors, have friends, face difficulties, learn from our environment, gain social experiences, and have critical roles to play in a kid’s life. Parents maintain their offspring safe from risks while their real-life adventures teach them how to manage these barriers. Outside the house, children experience several sorts of situations that instruct them to solve their particular problems. Furthermore, children learn valuable skills in schools that help them create a sense of community to have a regular life beyond their family borders.

To conclude, I am convinced that although parents have a significant impact on children’s mindset, social interactions, and outside factors can also be critical and cannot be ignored for a child’s overall development.
