Most of the countries face the traffic problem and to solve this issue government of those nations are constructing a highway. However, motorways are significant benefits which help people to move swiftly but give risen multifarious problems. The most apparent problems are environmental pollution which causes various health hazards for the people. I would some issues and an alternative solution in the paragraph.
There is the various harmful effect of highways which not only affect nature but individuals also. This will primarily influence the environment because it increases deforestation. At the initial stage, all the trees cut down from near about the roads which misbalanced the environment. Moreover, motorways are the main reason of accident because people ease the speed of their motors on these rows and they can not control it in an emergency. In addition to it, vehicles depended on t on fossil fuels which releases a toxic chemical that is causing multifarious environmental hazard such as global warming. Anothaeffect of highways is, it put the burden individual’s pocket because a person has to pay some fees in the form of toll tax if he/she uses the road.
To solve this issue, the first solution is, the government should install cameras on the roads so that they put hefty fine to the person for crossing the speed limit. Second is, the government have to upgrade the public service and motivates the people to use public transport and carpooling methods (the method through which people share their vehicle with others) because of this approach can reduce the number of motors from the roads so, in that way traffic problem will be solved and there is no need to construct any highway or flyovers. Moreover, automobile companies should make envrentally-friendly vehicles to reduce the pollution that usually vehicles produce, To save the environment and wildlife.
In conclusion, despite the convenient and faster travelling to the destination, the motorways create various health and environmental issues. Therefore , both government and people need to come forward and tackle this issue.
