Firstly, they believe that everybody has their right to do things they like. Smoking is a preference, and It is up to the individual themselves whether they would like to smoke or not. Secondly, prohibiting smoking will also affect the financial condition as cigarette mills absorb so many employments. If smoking is wholly banned, then a number of factories will be closed and will lead to a higher unemployment rate. On the other hand, it is a fact that smoking has numerous negative consequences for the smokers themselves. Besides that, smoking could also have a severe threat to passive smokers.
