A tradition is a thing that preserves the artifacts of history and works as a significant representative of a country’s tradition and culture. Thus the significance of museums to convey the historical facts to the new generation is beyond controversy. However, there are scopes to talk about whether entry to a museum should be free or not. I believe that there should be no charge for the museum entry as charging individuals with more demerits.

To begin with, ticket money for museum entrance discourages many students and low-income families from visiting them. The collection of big museums increases daily, and thus people need to visit museums regularly, not just once in a lifetime. If people need to spend money to witness history, many prefer going to movies instead. Furthermore, museums are mostly run by state capital and public parks, seashores, and libraries, so they should be free of cost. The most important motive museums get public capital is to communicate the national history into the young folks and act as national pride, not to earn ticket money. From this regard, charging people for visiting museums have a lot more demerits than an ignorable advantage it offers.

Proponents of museum entrance fee think that the ticket money is vital for its upkeep while they do not realize that the taxpayers’ money could easily cover this cost. Charging these individuals and their children again is unrealistic. Finally, free entrance into the museum would attract international visitors and spread cultural uniqueness into the world and attract more visitors to a nation. If there are fees, tourists would see more popular areas than the museums.

To complete, free entrance to museums has many long terms and immediate advantages that far outweigh the only financial advantage the ticket cash system has.

Nowadays, many tourist attractions exist globally, which are available and encouraged by the government and one of these is your memorial. Museums also maintain and reflect the history, traditions and many other significant aspects of a nation. In some museums, there is a policy that the visitors need to pay money before entering while others are free to see. I surely feel the applied policy, i.e., charging traffic for memorial entry, derives more advantages than drawbacks.

First of all, cash collected from the people can be utilized to maintain and create the museum. For instance, it may cover the utility bills, repair expenses, renovation, and personnel expenses. Keeping up a large museum costs a huge sum of money along with the earnings earned from the traffic might be a good source of cash to do that. The government finances not all museums, and at times museum’s fund is not sufficient to pay all the expenses it takes. If no money is obtained from visitors, such museums will have to be closed down. So the entrance fee in museums sounds quite utilitarian to maintain a greater museum.

Furthermore, because of the applied tariff, inhabitants who enter a place providing scientific or historical values are likely to devote their leisure time there and do not enter unnecessarily. By way of instance, my sister, Lia, will read carefully the available information offered in the museum and among those reasons, she does that because she would like to get some value from the money she is spent.
