Question Overview

Topic : Development
Type : Opinion

Model Answer 1

These days many people chose to live alone, especially in metropolitan areas and this rate is far higher in developed nations and appears like this has gotten quite normal there. I believe this trend has more negative consequences than the few positive outcomes it gives.

The single-person household is regarded as positive from greater personal skill development and economic standpoint. A single-member household forces a person to learn some fundamental skills including cooking, cleaning the house, paying the utility bills, managing personal finance, buying daily commodities, embracing hobbies and many more important skills. This makes someone self-dependent that has a larger impact on the development of the country in a wider sense. For instance, research indicates that students who remain away from home because of their tertiary degrees find out more skills and become more self-dependent than pupils who study from home. Furthermore, a single-person relative is bound to do a job, business or have some type of arrangement to get a continuous earning and this trend has a fantastic positive impact on a nation’s economy.

From the contrary standpoint, the trend of raising single-person family has many negative effects. Firstly, the increasing trend of living independently has a direct relationship on the proportion of individuals suffer from emotional problems these days. Living alone generates loneliness and depression, unlike the traditional family where there are always others to share a person’s distress and distress. The isolation often leads people to select a lifestyle that is frequently negative. A recent study shows that single-person relatives frequently rely on medication and several become addicted. The individual is a social being and living independently is contrary to their natural tendency. For many, bearing the overall expenses is tough and this leads them to become involved in offenses.

In conclusion, the number of all single-person families is growing nowadays and this has some positive aspects despite many acute negative consequences.

Model Answer 2:

In the recent decades, most people, especially in developed countries, likely to go for living independently. Although living solo come together with different drawbacks, I’d consider this more of a favorable improvement.

For several reasons, living independently might have a few drawbacks. Primarily, living independently can be extremely costly as life is growing more and more complex and property price is only skyrocketing. This has created a difficult situation in locating an accommodation at a reasonable price. Being a singleton has meant they cannot anticipate any financial or moral support from relatives or friends in most cases. Lone occupants are more likely to experience depression, anxiety and uncertainty with bearing all family responsibilities together with pursuing a work life than family-oriented people. Because of this, single people tend to lead a hectic as well as burdensome life with a feeling of being resented and anguished and therefore leading an unhealthy way of life.

On the other hand, I feel that people, leading a life as single dwellers are the luckiest one. A feeling of liberty with an acute privacy is something known as as the most desirable element of a happy life. This is the main reason single occupant tends to be seen as a successful peer to peer the society. Because living a life on their own permits them to commit a valuable time in the development growth and shaping out their personality. What’s more, single men and women are likely to attend more public social issues, thus letting cities and urban areas to reinvigorate as they spend more cash on holiday-making, doing outside activities or surfing different services in contrast for their couple counterparts. Finally, if more individuals became separate, the more they reside greener by living in apartments or near to cities rather than living in suburb houses and commuting to work from far away extended spaces.

In conclusion, going solo might have some disadvantages but I’d assert that this development should be regarded as a progress.
