Just how much freedom a young child should be given and what type of punishment can be used to control them is a matter of great concern. Undeniably, an excessive amount of freedom and lack of necessary control often lead youngsters to go astray while too much punishment makes them boring and less creative. Personally, I feel that punishment is supposed to help kids learn lessons and that is the reason why certain punishments which don’t involve beating the kids is useful.
To begin with, early childhood experience and lessons have lasting effects on someone’s life and that is why teachers and parents must try their best to teach morality and superior qualities to children. Kids are interested and occasionally less mature to understand certain detrimental effects of doing something while each father and mother want the offspring to become a perfect and exemplary person in life. They often need to use certain punishment to teach a valuable lesson into a kid as well as the sole purpose of this punishment should be teaching a morality, shouldn’t be driven by any sort of personal anger or frustration. Physically beating a boy or a woman is in no manner should be used as there are much better ways of punishing a child to teach him something.
While bodily punishment is no longer utilized in most of the developed nations, it might still be found in underdeveloped nations. More effective penalties may be not speaking to the child for a misconduct or not taking him to the playground for a day or two. Likewise parents may refrain from awarding the kid with toys or chocolate and reminding the child why he does not deserve these. If parents have a friendly relationship with the kids and just expressing their frustration to get an act of the child, that would function like the magical. From my experience, I could say that I took things more seriously if my father stopped talking to me personally for a certain stage for some thing that he disliked about me personally and that I vowed many times to myself not to do that again.
To complete, punishment is essential to teach children morality and help them learn to distinguish good things from poor ones. However, this punishment shouldn’t be physical, rather practical and psychological.
