Introduction :

Well, in my perception, Schools are highly significant as it is the place from where students learn the basic of everything, plus it lays the foundation of a better life. Schools only help students to gain fundamental knowledge, but also allow students to interact with other students socially, academically, and emotionally. Indeed, talking about my childhood school makes me nostalgic, as memories related to it would always hold a special place in my life.

Where it was?

I did my schooling from St. Joseph’s convent, which was one of the best schools in my locality. Since the school was just a stone’s throw away from my home, my parents were never dependent on school transportation. I vividly remember my father used to drop me there, perhaps until grade 4th. However, I started to walk along with my friends later.

My mom used to tell me that it was one of the oldest schools in the city, besides most of my elder cousins have passed out from there. Though it was a private school, its fees were not that hefty to the pocket.

I got admission there in Nursery and studied there till 10th. Frankly speaking, I don’t remember the number of classrooms it had.

What it was like?

Nevertheless, I can say that my school had an enormous three-storied building, including an extensive amount of well-structured ventilated classrooms. It also had all modern amenities, such as a science lab, a computer lab, a small inhouse library, a spacious room for music and dance DMs a huge playground along with a beautiful backyard full of colourful plants.

What you learned there?

Since it followed the CBSE curriculum, I studied all the subjects like Arts, geography, science, math, and language. 11 only my school was exceptionally good at education, ! also it focused on extracurricular activities. I remember all the teachers were extremely cooperative and well qualified.

How you felt about it? and Conclusion :

I feel content that throughout my school, I have learned several moral values along with bookish knowledge. Indeed, I made quite a few good friends and had a whale of a time with them, during and after school. Frankly speaking, it was a salad day, which I would cherish for a lifetime.

I analyzed in one college from LKG to class 10.
The title of this faculty is St. Joseph’s Convent School.

It’s on the primary Road in Phagwara.

What it was like?

It’s a gorgeous school.
I’ve got very fond memories of this time that I spent there.
It has many rooms.
There is a separate wing for the key classes.
It’s a library, a computer lab, science labs, a canteen, two big playgrounds, and a gorgeous yard filled with flowering plants.
This college is affiliated to the ICSE Board.

What you learned there?

Aside from getting academic instruction, we had a lot of extracurricular activities.
I was a part of a dance club.
Every year, we had an annual function. Two months earlier that we used to start preparing some dancing items.
We used to do that from the zero periods.
We also played badminton and cricket at the after school hours.
Our college principal was quite strict.
We had been given punishment if we were not in an appropriate uniform or when we did not do our homework.

How you felt about it?

I remember, once I got the punishment for not bringing my homework notebook.

Teachers now have different ways of ensuring there is a discipline in the classroom, just like they ensure that the students are engaged and maintain the decorum. Additionally, to punish, they use less unpleasant, but at the same time, more effective steps so the students understand their mistakes and not repeat them.

I Believe the Sort of college we attend makes a big In case the quality of schooling and teaching methods are poor, then the foundation is weak in terms of knowledge and academics. I think It’s a positive development that teachers are using computers. It will help make teaching more efficient and interesting. Too much dependence on technology may become a barrier as teachers won’t be able to address or manage a course well without it. So, there should be a

But, there are some men and women that only need to get knowledge about a particular area or field out of interest instead of it serving a purpose in their career. As an instance, a physician may want to learn a foreign language only from interest.

I think the government plays an integral role in the education system. There are many things that can be made better. The quality of education has been declining, and the government needs to monitor that and ensure that it is not affected. The teachers that are hired must not only possess the mandatory qualifications but also have the skills required to teach effectively. This can be checked before hiring teachers. Apart from that there should be better facilities offered in schools, like well-equipped labs, the technology used should be newest and not outdated, etc.. Extracurricular activities are being disregarded, and the government should be certain such activities are incorporated for its all-round development of the children. Apart from these developments, there are lots of remote regions in India, where colleges are in a pitiable state. There are no facilities offered, and even the educators teaching there are not well-qualified. So, there need to be several immediate steps taken, and more funds must be allocated to improve education in remote places.
