Unquestionably, it is true that it is very challenging to get a job in this competitive era. Sometimes well-qualified people fail to get employment while those people get jobs who have do not have a proper degree. So, I cannot entirely agree with the statement that university degree guarantees people a good job. I think the only qualification is not required to secure a job; many other things are also necessary. I would discuss some points which strengthen my viewpoints in the upcoming paragraph.
A university degree only provides theoretical knowledge or can say enhances an individual’s knowledge, but practical training makes a person robust and capable in that way he/she ready to face the challenges in the workplace For example, in the medical field, student pass university exam with a good percentage which makes them eligible to get a job in the hospital and many other medical sectors, but if students do not know how to check a patient/ how to do surgery, then they can not save their jobs.
Furthermore, the other important skill is confidence, which is very important for a person, and this skill a person does not get from a university degree. If an individual does not have confidence, then he/she is not able to communicate with others and fail to explain his/her ideas, which puts the job in danger. Moreover, logical thinking is also essential for a job. Employers also check how their companies’ employees handle a problematic situation, which means which methods and tricks they use.
In conclusion, according to my perception, both university degrees and practical knowledge are equally important because the only degree can not guarantee people a good job/ can not save jobs. The success rate can also increase if a person has both things.
