Question Overview

Topic : Railways and Road
Type : Opinion

Model Answer 1:

Quick and secure transport system and enhanced communication are two major facets of the evolution of a nation. Every government functions for these citizens to breathe safely and fast while companies also rely on a good transportation system. Thus as soon as the question arises if a government should concentrate on enhancing its railways or streets, individuals look like have split opinions.

Quick of railways offer you secure commuting both for its citizens and citizens. So investing more about a secure method of commuting is a far more wise thought. Rails cause relatively less ecological harm while the street vehicles are the principal reason behind growing pollution around the world.

Secondly, rails can take hundreds of individuals and lots of hundred tonnes of products while street transfers can carry just a couple. Thus improved railways will save individuals’ precious time daily. Paradoxically, railroad lines are often away from the principal cities, and that is the reason some active cities do not have any other choices than to enhance their railroad transportation system. Express trains can decrease the traffic congestion in several cities and much more investment to enhance the railroad is the only viable solutions in towns in which a high amount of individuals reside in.

Finally, the people of earth is growing quickly, and that is the reason why investing more cash on quicker and more dependable transport system is much more logical than investing in an old transportation system. Railways will undoubtedly be future in transportation and investment on it is the better option for virtually any government.

In conclusion, I feel that a government, possibly in a developed or a developing nation, should invest in constructing a safer, quicker and more reliable transport system and the railroad, because of this, should find a priority.

Model Answer 2:

Some consider that a government must construct more railroads instead of highways and streets. To a certain stage, I would agree with the announcement. However, I also feel that the conclusion of construction railways or roads ought to be determined base on the normal state of the region and the taste of citizens.

On the one hand, it is understandable if some people today feel that a government must enlarge more railroads instead of roads and roads. Primarily, it is clear that when a nation has extensive railroad networks, it will positively influence the logistic price. The selling price of many products would be more economical as one locomotive could transmit tonnes of plants, goods or spirits. Second, by constructing incorporated subway stations in town regions, traffic congestion can be averted. By way of instance, as Singapore has an excellent train network, known as MRT, the majority of the individuals seldom push their very own vehicles.

On the other hand, it is also essential for a government to get some feasibility study concerning the ancestral state of a place before they intend to enhance railroads. It is a simple fact that some regions may not be achievable for railways, as those regions may be swamps or even have rugged mountains. If the government build railroad systems, then the expense price may be unreasonable. As an example, the island of Borneo in Indonesia is among the biggest islands on the planet, but the majority of the regions are swamped. It is not acceptable for railroads, but while the island has broad and long rivers like the Mahakam and Kapuas, the authorities could concentrate more on constructing water transport there.

In summary, to a certain extent, I would agree that authorities must construct more railroads than highways and roads. However, I think that authorities should also make substantial dimension before they invest in railways. They need to make sure that their places are acceptable for the rail community and individuals to prefer that transport system.
