Model Answer 1:

Introduction and What is that game?:
Well, I’ve played many games when I was younger, but one of my favorite games was hide-and-seek. It was a game that never got old, no matter how many times we played it.

Who you played it with?
I would play it with my friends from the neighborhood, and we would often gather at the park near our houses to play.

Where did you play the game?
The park was the perfect place for hide-and-seek because it had plenty of trees and bushes to hide behind, as well as open spaces to run around in. We would take turns being the seeker, counting to ten while the rest of us scattered to find hiding spots.

Explain why you enjoyed playing that game.
I remember the excitement of finding the perfect hiding spot, crouching behind a bush or tree and trying to stay as still as possible while the seeker counted.

And then there was the thrill of being found, of hearing the seeker’s footsteps getting closer and closer until they finally spotted me.

But even when I was the seeker, the game was just as fun. There was a sense of anticipation as I counted, wondering where my friends were hiding and if I would be able to find them all.

And then there was the satisfaction of finding someone, of catching them by surprise and tagging them before they could run away.

I enjoyed playing hide-and-seek because it was a great way to spend time with my friends. We would play for hours, taking turns being the seeker and the hider.

It was a simple game, but it brought us so much joy. We would laugh and shout and run around, completely caught up in the moment.

Conclusion:
Even now, when I think back to those days, I can’t help but smile. Hide-and-seek was more than just a game to us; it was a way to bond and create memories that would last a lifetime. It was a time of innocence and carefree fun, and I will always cherish those moments.

Model Answer 2:

Introduction:

  • I loved playing different types of games with my sister and friends when I was younger.
  • I used to play board games like chess, snakes and Ladder and Ludo.
  • I also had a set of action figures- GI Joes, and I loved playing with them with my friends.

What is that game?

  • However, my favourite game during that time was hide and seek.

Who you played it with? and Where did you play the game?

  • During my childhood, one of my best friend’s father was a government servant.
  • They had this huge government bungalow.
  • It was an old British-period house.
  • Moreover, they also had a huge lawn with many trees.
  • In short, there was no shortage of hiding places, and that’s what made it so fun.
  • It was normally four of us, my friend Jasjot, whose house it was and our two common friends, Saral and Navneet.
  • Sometimes, Jasjot’s sister also joined us.
  • The game’s purpose was simple; one person had to find all others in a limited time period.
  • The person whose turn it was to find had to count for 60 secs with closed eyes before starting.
  • However, the house was very big, so we had to keep some rules.
  • Some parts of the house were forbidden, for example, Jasjot parent’s bedroom.
  • Sometimes, we allowed changing hiding locations, and sometimes we didn’t.
  • Basically, we just thought of rules according to the situation.
  • If the hiders were getting caught easily, we made it easier for them, and if the finder was finding it difficult, we made it easier for him.
  • We all took turns finding and hiding.
  • I still vividly remember the four of us making fun of each other, finding the weirdest places to hide – like inside the washing machine.

Explain why you enjoyed playing that game. and Conclusion:

  • Hide and seek gets boring after a certain time when the person figures out all the hiding locations.
  • However, his house was so big that it seemed like there were millions of hiding spots.
  • I think that’s why I enjoyed it so much.
  • Moreover, there was no technology in those days; only one of us had a computer, so hide and seek was our favourite game those days.
