Model Answers and follow up questions to describe a time when you were asked opinion in a survey IELTS Cue Card:
Model Answer:
Introduction:
Well, I have participated in quite a few surveys conducted by different organizations, but here I would definitely like to share the experience of participating in a survey that I had just last month. The fact is that I was at the bus stand waiting for my bus that was supposed to leave in another 20 minutes.
What the survey was about?
During this time, I saw a canopy of Samsung mobile phones with some people around. I, too, approached to see with excitement what was going on, and I got to know that Samsung company is surveying its latest release, Note 10 plus mobile.
Why did you participate?
Since I’m a user of this mobile phone, I too decided to take part in it. Mr. Singh, who was one of the representatives at this canopy, handed over to me a questionnaire. There were about ten close-ended questions that were regarding different features of this mobile, and at the bottom, there was also a suggestion box.
What opinions you gave?
I answered all the questions as per my experience with this mobile, and in the suggestion box, I left my comments that this mobile is a little too pricey and should be more affordable; during this time, they also served me a cup of coffee I must say taking part in this survey was quite a satisfactory experience.
How did you feel?
I felt I was directly communicating with the company, and sharing my feedback would benefit the company.
Conclusion:
Overall it was a wonderful experience, and now I never miss a chance to participate in a survey.
