IELTS Speaking Part 2: IELTS Cue Card
Describe a time when you had to walk barefoot.

Introduction:
Well, for me it’s not common to walk barefoot because you will always find me wearing footwear and here I would definitely like to share one experience when I had to walk barefoot.
When was it?
Actually, I am in habit of visiting Gurudwara every evening where I spend 10 to 15 minutes praying to the lord as it gives me mental relaxation. It is a ritual when we enter the premises we have to take off the footwear that day I was wearing my flip-flops.
Why you had to walk barefoot?
I just took them off and entered the Gurudwara but after 10-15 minutes when I returned I found my footwear missing. I was a bit angry and irritated to see this thing but then I realised maybe its the way that God wanted me to help somebody in need.
For that reason I tried to cool down and decided that I would walk back home barefoot, The reason behind this was not have enough money in my pocket to buy a new pair on the way back home. Now, when I started walking barefoot it was not easy for me.
Pebbles were pinching my feet and I was feeling a bit of pain but honestly speaking, after 5 or 10 minutes I started enjoying it as it was very much like acupressure.
Now when I was near my house there is actually, there is a small park with lush green grass near my home so I decided to take a walk barefoot on the grass because it is one of the best things to do as it helps to improve our concentration and it is also a very relaxing activity to do.
Conclusion:
After doing this activity for 15 to 20 minutes finally, I reached home and when my brother opened the door he saw me barefoot and started laughing at me but when I narrated the whole incident to him then he understood the situation. But overall it was the time I when had to walk barefoot.
