Introduction: Being polite is one of the greatest virtues. Unfortunately, not many possess it.
Who is the person? These days, most people are abrupt and rude, but I feel lucky to know an extremely soft-spoken Mr. Singh, my Maths teacher. I have observed his politenara’As throughout my school time.
How you know him/her? He was our Mathematics teacher, as you know, usually mathematics teachers very strict by their nature but, Mr. Singh had a very calm and friendly nature where most students find maths a very difficult subject and avoid it.
Explain why you think this person is polite? But, because of the polite and soft nature of Mr. Singh, students developed their interest in learning Mathematics as he never used to get angry or punish students for not completing their work. Rather teach them in a more practical and easier way.
In fact, he was not even harsh with students who used to create indiscipline. Mr. Singh always used to make them realise their mistakes very politely. For his polite nature, he was respected by students as well as teachers, and everyone used to enjoy his company.
Conclusion: I vividly remember, when I was taking extra Maths classes near exams at his home, I observed he was equally polite with his family as others. In contrast, most people behave differently and pretend to be polite in front of society. The best aspect of his personality is that Mr. Singh always wears a smile on his face, and I wish I too become a polite person like him.

Introduction: Politeness has become a rare quality these days, which we can hardly expect from others. Well-mannered and soft-spoken individuals are hard to find.
Who is the person? Very recently, I came across a person whom I found extremely polite and decent. He was army personnel. His name was ______. He belonged to Punjab, and he was an officer on special duty in my city. He was very humble and empathetic.
Whatever I say in his praise will be less. He was a thorough gentleman and the most courteous individual I have ever come across. He was cooperative and helpful. I heard him talking to his subordinates on the phone and to his driver and his usage of words were very respectful and kind. His tone was disciplined, and his speech was clear. His body language was confident and alert.
How you know him/her? I happened to meet him by chance, and I feel very fortunate to have met him. I was returning from my farm, and my vehicle broke down. I was walking, and there were puddles due to heavy rain. Many cars passed by and splashed water on me. One car passed so slowly that not a single drop of water splashed on my dress. It was a black ambassador with a red light on top. The colonel was sitting inside, and he offered me a lift. This is how I met him.
Explain why you think this person is polite? I think he was polite because despite being a person from such a high cadre, he respected me. He offered me some water and went and sat in the front seat with the driver to make me comfortable. He gave me his phone so that I could call my parents and inform them about my whereabouts. He dropped me home, and my parents thanked him.
Conclusion: I was honoured to meet a very noble army person. His virtues were worthy of admiration and respect.
