Model Answer:

Introduction:
Well, India is famous for its rich vegetation and a wide range of plants are found in different parts of my country. I would take this opportunity to talk about one of the poisonous plants that I know. In fact, it is the plant that commonly grows in my region.

What is the name of the plant?
The name of this plant is “Flower of death”. Actually, this plant got its name from the beautiful flowers that grow on it that look very attractive however they are very poisonous.

Where is it found? and How do you know about it?
Actually, I grew up in the countryside where this plant was almost everywhere.

In open areas where I used to play with my friends, this plant was very common. I still remember that our parents used to restrict us from getting closer to this plant. The fact is that it bears very beautiful flowers that often attract children.

However, touching this plant results in itching on the skin. At the same time, when flowers are plucked a white colour liquid starts oozing out of them which is actually Poison. I still remember when we were playing one of friend accidentally touched this plant and he was rushed to the hospital.

Even though our parents used to clear this plant on regular basis, still it used to grow on its own and even these days it can be seen almost everywhere.

However, does have few medicinal properties. that’s the reason why it is often used in ayurvedic medicines in my country.

Conclusion:
Overall, it is a very poisonous plant commonly found in my country.
