Model Answer 1:

Who this person is? and How you know this person?

Well, I have a huge friend circle but most of my friends are introvert and have a very reserve nature, but my cousin Karan is quite open minded and I would like to talk about him at this very moment. Actually, he is quite bold by nature right from childhood.

Why do you think this person is very open?

He was born and brought up in New Delhi and had an opportunity to study at convent school. At the same time, he is extremely competitive by nature that’s why, since childhood he is far more frank and open than me and others. In addition, few years ago he moved to Canada for his study where he got the exposure and now after returning he talks even more frankly. For example, when we sit with our seniors I often hesitate to talk but he can freely talk on any topic. In fact, in my country on some social topics where people do not feel comfortable to talk he has no problem in presenting his views.

Similarly, when we go out he just doesn’t mind interacting with new people especially travellers from different country. Just last Sunday we visited Golden Temple where there were few foreigners asking for direction, nobody was helping them out but, Karan approached them and gave them the directions.

And explain how you feel about this person?

He has wonderful communication skills and I was really impressed the way he was interacting with them. Overall, I can say he is the person who is quite open and frank that I personally know.

Model Answer 2:

Introduction

  • I think very few people today are open and frank.
  • I myself am not very open, and I don’t find it easy to express my feelings.

Who this person is? and How you know this person?

  • But I really think that my mother is a very open person.
  • I have experienced her straightforward nature many times.
  • She doesn’t hide her thoughts and feelings. She openly expresses them.

Why do you think this person is very open?

  • For example, I recently made a cake.
  • She found it too sweet and when I asked for her opinion, she clearly said she didn’t like it.
  • And she isn’t like that with us family members only, but others also.
  • She speaks her mind.
  • Sometimes people get offended due to this too.
  • But as people get to know her, they understand that she is just straight forward and she intends to help and not to insult.
  • Over the years, I have found that more and more people appreciate her for straightforwardness rather than take offence.
  • Her straightforward and direct nature is also a reason, many of our relatives and neighbours come and share their worries with her.
  • They know she will speak her mind.

And explain how you feel about this person?

  • I think it requires a lot of courage for a person to be open and direct.
  • I care too much about other people’s feelings, and as a result, sometimes I lie or make promises I can’t keep.
  • My mother never does that, and I think she is really brave deep-down.
  • She is very secure about herself, and she is not afraid to show her true self to people.

Conclusion

  • I really wish I could be more open like that.
