Model Answer 1:

Introduction:
Well, fishing is one of the most relaxing activities, but not many people can enjoy it due to the unavailability of a natural water body around.

Where it is? and How do you know about it?
I feel lucky to experience fishing once during my visit to my uncle’s house, who lives in a village near the river Sutlej. Near his village, there is a very famous fishing area, and I was quite curious to visit there.

When and with whom you went there?
The very next morning, I went there with my uncle and Reaching there I couldn’t believe my eyes because the beauty of this place was breathtaking. The river was flowing steadily, and there were mountains all around.

The weather was extremely pleasant, and there was greenery around the river banks. My uncle has his own fishing gear, and he taught me how we can catch Erie fishes.

Well, there were many other people’s who were there with there fishing rods and infact my uncle was also carrying a big umbrella to save us from the sunlight.

During this time my uncle said that we should remain quiet and better read a book because otherwise, it gets really difficult to catch fish.

We were really lucky that in a couple of hours, we got two salmons pretty good in size, and my uncle took my photograph as well while I was grabbing both the fishes in each of my hands.

How was the overall experience? and Conclusion:
Interestingly, there was also a provision of barbecue, and we cooked/grilled fish and enjoyed up there only.

Along with fishing, I enjoyed the pristine weather and nature, and I was thankful to my uncle for such a wonderful experience.

In fact, my uncle said that he is planning to buy a fishing boat, so the next time I will visit him, I will be fishing in the river sitting in a boat rather than sitting on the bank.

Overall, it was wonderful experience of fishing that I had lately.

Model Answer 2:

Introduction:
Well, almost every activity that people do for fun has benefits. Fishing is one of them. It helps to relax our minds. Most people want to fish, but they can’t enjoy it because they live far from the water body. Today I would like to talk about when I visited the fishing spot.

Where it is? and How do you know about it? and When and with whom you went there?
Two months ago I went to Kerala with my friend. My friend is from Kerala and works for a government bank in Punjab. He went home for a vacation. I went there because it was a week off.

He is good at fishing. He told me he would show me the famous fishing grounds of his hometown. Elephant Lakes is the best fishing spot. The best coastal fish such as sardines, pomfret, tuna and mackerel are available here. The best time to fish here is between October and March.

How was the overall experience?
According to locals, Elephant Lake is considered the best place for a picnic. Surrounded by scenic tea fields, evergreen forests and rolling hills. When you arrive at this location, prepare your camera for a panoramic view of the lake against the backdrop of a green tea plantation. The best thing is that the Entry is free.

How was the overall experience? and Conclusion:
My overall experience was great. I learned a lot of new things, fishing is one of them. A friend sat next to me and taught me how to place and hold my fishing tackle.

  • My uncle told me that we could even come take a bath in the reservoir in the morning.
